The group performs independent research in applied multivariate statistics as well as provides general support in multivariate data analysis. In the first year of its existence, the group has focused on the analysis of metabolomics data; topics include in particular the identification of biomarkers, and multivariate image analysis for mass-spectrometric data. In the near future, also other -omics sciences will be included in the field of research.
