The “Volatile Compounds” facility at FEM provides state of the art technologies for the rapid, direct and high sensitivity monitoring of volatile compounds in particular those based on direct injection mass spectrometry. The expertise in  data analysis and data mining methods will add value to  the instrumental activity and foster collaborations with possible partners in diverse fields as food science and technology, agronomy, genetics, health sciences and environmental sciences.
