Research activity
Development of Free Software for climatological and hydrological purposes. Analysis of instrumental climate time-series for ACESAP-P1 and ENVIROCHANGE projects. Simulations of future weather scenarios with a stochastic Monte-Carlo generator (see R package RMAWGEN http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/RMAWGEN).
Research interests
- Physical and Statistical Hydrology;
- Climatology;
- Coping mathematical rigor in the numerical and statistical methods for stochastic weather generators;
- Downscaling techniques and hydrological distributed physically-based models.
