Research activity
My PhD research project is carried on within the ACE-SAP (ALPINE ECOSYSTEMS IN A CHANGING ENVIRONMENT: BIODIVERSITY SENSITIVITY AND ADAPTIVE POTENTIAL). The aim of my study will be to test a wide array of candidate genes for the most common abiotic stresses (e.g. drought, cold, nutrient availability, illumination), for correlation with environmental parameters characterizing different populations of Picea abies on the Italian Alps.
Research interests
My research interests rely primarily within the field of Molecular Ecology Evolutionary genetics and Behavioural ecology.
