2010: Begin of the Master degree in agronomic sciences and technologies (curriculum in sciences of vegetal productions) ; University of Bologna, Italy.
2010: Bachelor degree, Doble degree in Viticulture and enology, University of Udine in consortium with University of Trento and S. Michele all’Adige ,Italy; Tecnicatura en enologìa y viticoltura, Universidad Nacionàl de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina; Thesis title: ”Microossigenazione di un vino di varietà Croatina: studio delle conseguenze sulle componenti fenoliche e sensoriali”.
In 2010, he collaborated with Gastone Dallago and Maurizio Bottura groups at FEM Centro Trasferimento Tecnologico, as a project collaborator, monitoring the plant patology produced by phytoplasm in open – field in Trentino. In 2011 he also worked with Umberto Malossini under the grapevine plant’s clone selection group.
Andrea will work for the european project PURE, work package 6.1 “Identification of alternatives to pesticides, models and design of IPM candidate solutions with stakeholders”.
His main interest is at looking the effects of Trichoderma atroviride in grapevine plants against ESCA’s fungi Phaeomoniella chlamydospora and Phaeoacremonium aleophilum. Moreover he is working with prediction modeling for the reduction of chemical products for plant protection against Plasmopara viticola, Erisiphe necator and Botrytis cinerea.
Optimization of the formulation of Trichoderma atroviride SC1 against Botrytis cinerea (vitro trials, UV, low/high temperatures, low/high humidity);
Collateral effects against Trichoderma atroviride by chemicals and hormones.
Open field, greenhouse, nursery and lab trials; effectiveness of Trichoderma atroviride SC1 and bacteria against botrytis cinerea; identification of the best integration’s strategies.
