Ecogenomics
Research group (DBEM E) - To identify the mechanistic basis of the variation underlying phenotypic and adaptive traits in natural populations, species and communities using genomic approaches aimed at the understanding, management, conservation and sustainable use of natural biological diversity.
In particular the comparison of adaptive relevance of regulatory vs. protein coding variation is carried out with genomic techniques based on next generation sequencing.
