Metabolomics

Technological Platform (DQAN M) - Reliable methods for plant regeneration gene transfer and exogene quantification.

Metabolomics

The metabolomics platform is a core facility created by FEM. It is designed to mediate progress in science through development of new metabolomic methods and provision of measurement services applicable to plants, human, animal, cell models. The activities include both profiling (analyses of all measurable analytes to identify differences) and targeted analyses (quantification of a chosen set of analyses). The metabolomic platform is meant to provide a high quality service in the field of metabolomics for research group. This configurations allows the acquisition of high sensitivity measurements. Using any of the systems, a high throughput is achieved.

The Facilities - These facility provide the FEM research community access to advanced technical expertise with state-of-the-art equipment. Facility services are also available to the outside scientific community in order to enhance the level of collaborative research.
The metabolomic Platform has been equipped with the most complete instruments in the GC/MS and LC/MS fields:
   1. Acquity UPLC with Xevo (MS/MS) detector (Waters, Miliford, USA)
   2. Aquity HPLC -Synapt Q-TOF (Waters, Miliford, USA)
   3. GC-TOF (Waters, Miliford, USA)
   4. GC-MS/MS (Thermoscientific, San Jose, USA)

The Services - The services offered by the platform are the following:
 • experimental design
 • sample preparation
 • chemical analysis
 • data analysis
