Team leader of Plant Transformation and Tissue Culture platform
MICKAEL MALNOY - He was graduated in Cellular and Molecular Plant Biology at the Toulouse University (France) in 1997. He achieved his Doctorate in Cellular and Molecular Biology in 2001 at the Angers University (France). He worked as researcher in the Department of Plant Pathology at the Cornell University from 2002 to 2007. Since 2007 he has been leading an internal research project at Fondazione Edmund Mach carrying out studies on molecular genetics dissection of important apple disease (oidium, scab, and fire blight), on the isolation of resistance genes, and understanding the base molecular of the interaction Malus fire blight. He is also leading research activities on apple, grapevine and strawberry genetic engineering (more info on his personal page).
