The activity of the group has reached the major goals with the sequencing of the grapevine, apple and strawberry genomes. Following the sequencing projects and becoming available more plant genomes during the last years, several molecular genetics and genomics tools have been developed in order to improve the use of genome sequences to translate basic into applied research. Our group aim to analyse deeply the features of the genomes to propose a new deal of Whole Genome Analysis to introduce association studies and LD analysis, in order to support molecular breeding and functional genomics approaches.
