The platform has an important role in the activities related to the following projects which are under the responsibility of the “Limnology and River Ecology” Research Group:

• EULAKES (European Lakes under environmental stressors); funding body: EU, Central Europe Program. The project has the principal aim of assessing the vulnerabilities of important central Europe lakes and to deliver a common approach for preserving the water quality.
• LEDRO; funding body: Autonomous Province of Trento. The project has the aim of developing a sustainable strategy for restoring and preserving the quality of the Lake Ledro basin (Trentino).
