Limnology and River Ecology
Research Group (DASB LEF) - Investigations on ecosystem functioning and interactions between aquatic environment and organisms at the individual, species, population, and community level.
The Limnology and River Ecology group promotes investigations on ecosystem functioning and interactions between aquatic environment and organisms at the individual, species, population, and community level. This approach has practical fallouts both in the definition of the role and function of biodiversity and keystone species and in the definition of solutions to a variety of problems that originate from the interactions of organisms and environment.
Main events organized by the research group:
- IAP16° workshop of the international association of Phytoplankton taxonomy and ecology - Phytoplankton responses to human impact at different scales.
