IPP
10 scholarships yearly are devoted to International PhD Programme (IPP) that FEM has launched in 2010 in agro-biosciences, food-biosciences, terrestrial and fresh water ecology, climate change mitigation and adaptation, agro-biology and eco-biology.
In these issues the scientists of CRI have significant expertise in terrestrial and fresh water ecology as documented by significant publication records in peer reviewed journals. Novel research is also underway to explore new options to adapt to the expected changes in climate and to implement new strategies for mitigation. Students working in those areas of science will have opportunities to operate in an international context being involved in ongoing and new projects that operate at regional, national, continental and global scales. They will also have the opportunity to be in contact with visiting scientists from Europe and overseas that have decided to spend their sabbaticals in a great location and in a stimulating scientific environment.
